NAME OF ATV ACCIDENT VICTIM REVEALED: Benson teen Venice Galleano, who was about to promote from 8th grade to high school in a couple of weeks, was in a tragic accident last night and suddenly passed away. Cochise County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the 13 year old female has died.
On Saturday May 4, 2024 at approximately 5:30 pm, the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office was advised of an ATV accident on private property in Elfrida off of Hawkeye Road.
The two female juveniles were ejected from the side by side UTV. The 13 year old suffered fatal injuries. The 14 year old female was airlifted to a Tucson hospital and is in critical condition.

13 year old female did not survive her injuries. 14 year old female was airlifted to a Tucson hospital and is in critical condition.
