Take a look at the incredible detail Noah brought to this mural! 🐟 With a splash of imagination, he transformed a garage door into a playful scene with a fish cleverly disguised with a shark fin. Noah’s love for sea life truly comes to life in his work! We’ve also attached his other work courtesy of his Facebook page Desert Dragon Art and Design
“Fish! I love fish! Especially painting them. I used to draw them all the time and I’m glad I finally got to paint one. Hopefully I’ll paint many more in the future. Let me know what other fish you would like to see painted in the future.” – Noah 🎣💙

UPDATE:SVPD PRESS RELEASE: Sierra Vista police deescalate shelter in place situation
On Tuesday, Nov. 12, Sierra Vista police were able to deescalate a shelter in place situation involving a local man with a gun.
At about 6:18 p.m. on Tuesday, the Sierra Vista Police Department responded to a possible domestic violence call in the 1700 block of Knowlton Street. Initial information indicated a male subject had a gun in the house and was threatening a female and threatening to kill himself.
When officers arrived on the scene, they were able to contact and safely secure the female who was already outside of the residence. Through the course of the investigation, an attempt was made to contact the male subject, but he had barricaded himself inside the house. A perimeter was then set up and additional resources were called in to assist.
At 6:34 p.m., SVPD requested a reverse 911 message be sent to houses in the immediate area to shelter in place. Afterwards, negotiators were able to contact the male subject and at 7:17 p.m. he came out of the house and surrendered to police.
The subject was then taken to Canyon Vista Medical Center for a psychiatric evaluation. The case remains active pending further investigation and possible criminal charges.

Have you sponsored a wreath yet?? We still have more than 80% of our cemetery to fill before Wreaths Across America Day on Dec. 14!
Sponsor a wreath for just $17 and help remember and honor those who have served. bit.ly/WAASAVMCDonations
Every year, Civil Air Patrol 107, here in Cochise County, sponsored our portion of Wreaths Across America. The program is run by our cadets, supervised by our Senior Memebr Stacy Whitworth. Stacy has been doing this for several years, and we’ve had a great turnout and a very professional event every time. On 14 December, our cadets will participate in placing Wreaths at the Southern Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery just outside Fort Huachuca AZ, where they honor and respect our fallen Heroes.
The history of Wreaths Across America here:
1992 Morrill Worcester and the Worcester Wreath Company donated 5,000 wreaths to Arlington National Cemetery. The wreaths were placed in areas that received fewer visitors.
2005 A photo of the wreaths in the snow went viral, inspiring people to ask how they could help or start a similar tradition in their communities.
2007 WAA was founded to expand the tradition and include communities across the country.
2012 The millionth wreath was placed at Arlington National Cemetery.
2014 Every headstone at Arlington National Cemetery received a wreath for the first time.
2018 WAA placed wreaths for the first time outside the United States, at Normandy-American Cemetery in France.
2022 WAA expanded to include more than 3,700 participating locations, with every state and U.S. territory participating in National Wreaths Across America Day.
WAA's mission is to remember the fallen, honor those who serve, and teach the next generation the value of freedom. The organization works with schools, civic groups, scouts, and religious groups to raise funds for wreath sponsorships.
This Saturday, November 16, Doc's Watering Hole, 1959 Frontage Rd, hosts the 2nd Annual Pups On Parade from 11am-2pm. As the BEST OF SIERRA VISTA Fundraiser, this collaborative event between Doc's Watering Hole, the Sherry Ethell Team Long Realty, and local animal welfare organizations promises an unforgettable experience.
Admission is free for all ages, with specialty menu items and live music. Sponsorship opportunities are available to support shelter dogs, with recognition provided. Donations for the silent auction are also welcome. Contact 602-228-0490 to contribute.
Proceeds support the Friends of the SV Animal Shelter, a 501(C)3 non-profit, in providing essential services for shelter animals.
Come out and support a great cause and maybe end up adopting a furry friend!
