It is about time
a bunch of non issues are the priority for trump. sounds about right. f him and all of you for supporting him. can’t wait till it affects you negatively.
All y'all liking this post and saying "it's about time" probably have no concept of the benefits that have been provided by some employees working from home. I'm sure there are a few shammers, but that's on their managers. Some jobs can't remote work well because of their duties, but some positions are excellent candidates. We've been able to get more done because we aren't dealing with trying to work in loud cubicle farms and dealing with constant interruptions and drive-bys. We're using less government resources, and we're not adding to the roadway congestion of everyone trying to get on and off post at the same times everyday, and it's better for the environment. Just a few years ago Greely Hall was full, they didn't have enough room for everyone and they were talking about building a whole brand new building for however hundred millions of dollars. That's not an issue now. I'm actually able to give MORE to my job because I'm not worn out by the whole dressing/ hair/makeup/make sure I pack a lunch and snacks/fight traffic by the time I get to work. We're MORE responsive to our customers because everything I need is here, no way am I dragging all that home and back everyday. Before and after duty hours calls due to time zone differences are no big deal when everything you need is at your home. We go into the office when necessary and plan social events so everyone feels connected. We take less time off of work because we aren't sick as often and running to an appointment takes a lot less time than running all the way off post and then having to get back on post, finding parking, and hiking to the building when you get stuck parking out in the back 40. Heck, I've worked from my bathroom when I had gastric distress, no way am I doing that in the office. So I'm not sure what y'all think is going to be fixed or solved or should be celebrated by arbitrarily bringing everyone back to the office.
HERES WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO HAPPEN: U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to proclaim illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border a national emergency, deploy troops, and increase the deportation of criminal offenders. As outlined in his inaugural address, President Trump intends to utilize the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to target foreign gang members in the U.S. and classify criminal cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.
