A BURGLARY WITHOUT A BREAK-IN⁉️Sierra Vista Police report having arrested a suspected burglar at a CVS pharmacy early Wednesday morning.
We're told the suspect was inside the store and tripped the alarm alerting police, who arrived at the scene around 2 a.m. The male was indulging in the alcohol area of the store. He is an individual who is currently homeless as well.
The suspect has been charged with burglary and theft.
A day earlier CVS was targeted by gangster talk graffiti, with the "Eastside Locos" phrase spray painted on the side of the CVS store following an overnight incident. The graffiti has since been covered up.
Our research revealed that the "Eastside Locos" name is mostly synonymous with a Latino gang primarily based on the East Side of Los Angeles, with most of their income derived from cocaine smuggling via coordination with the remnants of the Medellin Cartel in Colombia. The meaning here could be localized.
Sierra Vista Police, Fire, and EMS assure us there is no known gang problem in our area and it is a lone person who has periodically done this type of graffiti. This is not related to the burglery but a separate incident.
