DOUGLAS PITCHERS GET A PERFECT GAME! NO RUNS, NO HITS,NO WALKS AND NO ERRORS Thursday June 25th in Sierra Vista AZ.

The District 8 All-Star Tournament Game between Willcox and Douglas was not just the 23 to nothing score that raised eyebrows. It was the combined effort of Arturo Diaz, Gail Avatuco, and Vladimir Hurtado. Three Douglas pictures, who combined for a perfect game. This is historic in the fact that perfect games are very rare in any level of baseball, but to have it done by 8, 9, and 10-year-olds is nothing short of spectacular. This team is destined for greatness as they make their way in route to a state of Arizona championship.
