🚨VEHICLE PURSUIT ENDS IN ROLLOVER CRASH ON HIGHWAY 191; MULTIPLE INJURIES REPORTED.
The Cochise County Sheriff's Office is advising that at 6:57 pm, Deputies attempted to stop an older-model suburban on westbound Interstate 10, resulting in the driver of the vehicle failing to yield.
The vehicle continued traveling at a high rate of speed and taking evasive maneuvers in order to avoid being stopped by law enforcement before leaving the Interstate on Highway 191, and avoiding tire deflation devices.
Benson Police Department and Willcox Police Department officers were assisting in the attempt to stop the vehicle.
Benson Police Department Officers were able to conduct a PIT maneuver for the safety of the motoring public near milepost 52 on Highway 191, and the vehicle rolled over, ejecting multiple occupants.
The driver of the vehicle, a 16-year-old male from New Mexico, and a passenger, a 16-year-old male, from New Mexico, were identified as transporting the remaining six passengers, who were undocumented immigrants, to an unknown location.
CCSO will assume custody of the driver; at least two of the passengers are being airlifted from the scene by medical air assets; and the Arizona Department of Public Safety regional accident investigation team is responding to conduct the accident investigation.
Medical units from Willcox Fire, Elfrida Fire, Sunsites-Pearce Fire, HCI, and Lifeline all responded to assist with the injured subjects.
Highway 191 between Dragoon Road and the Power Plant is closed until further notice.

Court records indicate Dominguez is wanted on multiple felony charges, including:

▪️ Criminal Street Gang Assist and Riot
To assist in locating Dominguez, 88-Crime and the United States Marshals Service are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to his arrest.
Authorities urge anyone with information regarding Dominguez’s whereabouts not to approach him and instead contact law enforcement or submit an anonymous tip through 88-CRIME.

Motorists are advised to use caution and avoid the area of Carmichael Avenue and Wilcox Drive in Sierra Vista following a reported traffic accident.
Emergency responders are currently on scene working the incident. Traffic may be impacted in the area while crews assess the situation and clear the roadway.
Minor injuries are being reported at this time.
If possible, please seek an alternate route and allow first responders plenty of room to work safely.
