Pauken, and Rob Gallucci. The exhibit will run February 14-22 with varying hours. Visitors can experience celestial imagery and use a telescope on select evenings to view the night sky firsthand.

The Bisbee Dark Skies 2026 Astrophotography Show will open at the Carriage House Gallery, 308 Powell Street in Bisbee, showcasing the extraordinary beauty of southern Arizonaβs night skies through the work of three local astrophotographers: Seven Grey, Stephen J. Pauken, and Rob Gallucci. The exhibit will be open February 14 and 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and February 15 and 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Visitors will experience a range of celestial imagery, from sweeping Milky Way landscapes over Bisbeeβs historic architecture to detailed deep-space portraits of distant nebulae, galaxies, and star clusters.
Seven Grey, who moved to Bisbee in 2023 after years of international travel, discovered the areaβs remarkable dark skies shortly after arriving and quickly immersed himself in deep-space astrophotography. Now on his fifth telescope upgrade, he continues to push deeper into the cosmos with the goal of one day building a private observatory.
Stephen J. Pauken, a longtime public servant and recipient of the 2023 Gabe Zimmerman Public Service Award, has produced more than 400 astrophotographs since combining his passions for astronomy and photography in 2012. His collection spans galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, constellations, meteors, and comets, reflecting both technical dedication and a lifelong fascination with the night sky.
Joining them is award-winning photographer and workshop leader Rob Gallucci of Hereford, Arizona, whose nationally recognized work in storm-chasing and night sky photography has drawn photographers to Cochise County from around the country. Together, the three artists celebrate the importance of preserving dark skies and the unique visual heritage of Bisbee.
A telescope will be available on select evenings, weather permitting, allowing guests to look beyond the photographs and experience the night sky firsthand. The event is open to the public and invites residents and visitors alike to rediscover the wonder just overhead.
