Designed for children ages 1–5, each 45-minute class brings music to life through puppets, instruments, songs, games, movement, and musical notation. While the kids are having fun, they’re also building important skills that can help prepare them for success in school and beyond!

Kindermusic can help children develop confidence, coordination, memory, fine motor skills, language development, creativity, concentration, social skills, and body awareness — all while strengthening the bond between children and their caregivers. ❤️

The 9th Annual SV Glowride is coming to Veterans Memorial Park in Sierra Vista, and this year we are dedicating the Glowride in loving memory of longtime Glowrider James “Chach” Perez.

❤️ WHAT IS SV GLOWRIDE?

SV Glowride is one of Sierra Vista’s favorite Christmas traditions! Every year, our community comes together to decorate cars, trucks, motorcycles, Jeeps, UTVs and more with Christmas lights before cruising through Sierra Vista and bringing Christmas cheer into our neighborhoods.

It’s part Christmas parade, part car show, part community celebration—and a whole lot of LIGHTS!

Families can come out to Veterans Memorial Park before the cruise for vendors, activities and Christmas fun, then watch as the Glowriders light up the streets of Sierra Vista.

But this year, those lights will mean something more.

Chach loved motorcycles and off-road vehicles. To him, they weren't simply metal and gasoline—they were a piece of his heart.

Chach was also part of the Glowride family, and after his recent passing, we wanted this year's event to be an opportunity for our community to surround his family with love.

His family and friends will be joining us as we GLOW FOR CHACH.

When registering your vehicle, select “Glow For Chach.” For every registration marked Glow For Chach, $5 will go to Chach’s children as they walk through this difficult season.

‼️MAJOR MILESTONE: CHIRICAHUA NATIONAL PARK LEGISLATION CLEARS CONGRESS‼️

COCHISE COUNTY, Ariz. — A years-long effort to redesignate Chiricahua National Monument has reached a major milestone after the Chiricahua National Park Act cleared Congress, sending the legislation to the President for signature. The U.S. Senate approved the legislation on September 30 after the House passed it earlier this year.

If signed into law, the legislation would redesignate Chiricahua National Monument as Chiricahua National Park, making it Arizona’s fourth national park, joining Grand Canyon, Saguaro and Petrified Forest national parks.

Importantly, the legislation is a redesignation of the existing monument. It does not expand its existing boundaries or acquire surrounding private property. The legislation maintains protections for the area while changing its designation within the National Park System.

The effort has involved years of work from local residents, community leaders, conservation and outdoor organizations, Cochise County officials and Arizona’s congressional delegation. The House legislation was championed by Rep. Juan Ciscomani, while Sens. Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego advanced legislation in the Senate.

Cochise County officials say the designation could also bring increased national attention and visitation to southeastern Arizona, creating potential opportunities for communities and small businesses throughout the region. Board of Supervisors Chairman Frank Antenori called the congressional passage the culmination of a “long road,” while District 2 Supervisor Kathleen Gomez emphasized Chiricahua’s longstanding connection to generations of Cochise County residents.

The local effort dates back roughly a decade and included advocacy by the late Bob Gent, a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel from Sierra Vista who pushed to see Chiricahua become a national park before his death in 2019. Cochise County has credited Gent along with the many residents, organizations and government representatives who continued working toward the designation.

For now, Chiricahua remains a national monument. The final step is presidential approval. If the Chiricahua National Park Act is signed into law, the new designation will become official.
