TURNING TECHNOLOGY INTO REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE AT BEREAN ACADEMY! 💻🦅
CoolFMLive recently sat down with Karina Estrada, High School Computer Teacher at Berean Academy, to learn how students are taking technology beyond the computer screen and turning their ideas into something they can actually create.
Through Berean’s 3D printing club, students are learning about the technology behind 3D design and printing while also gaining valuable experience in the business side of operating a club, teamwork and personal responsibility.
Karina shared how students are given meaningful roles and responsibilities, helping them understand that success involves more than creating a finished product — it takes planning, communication, accountability and working together toward a common goal.
We also heard directly from three students involved in the club, who talked about their individual roles, what they’ve learned and, most importantly, how much they enjoy being part of the experience.
It’s exciting to see students getting hands-on opportunities that combine technology, creativity, business skills and responsibility while still having fun along the way!

Two Arrested Following Multi-Agency Vehicle Pursuit in Cochise County
A vehicle pursuit spanning several Cochise County communities ended in two arrests Tuesday evening after law enforcement successfully deployed spike strips.
The pursuit began around 6:15 p.m. in the Hereford area before traveling north through Huachuca City. Officers deployed tire deflation devices, disabling the vehicle, which then turned onto Camino de Mañana near the Whetstone Fire Department.
Following the stop, at least two suspects fled the vehicle on foot but were quickly apprehended.
The operation was a coordinated multi-agency effort involving the U.S. Border Patrol, the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, and the Sierra Vista Police Department

Tuesday, September 29, 2026 — The Huachuca Mountains received some good rainfall today, with water flowing through the creek near Reef Townsite Campground around 5 p.m. this evening.
This is a great sight to see, as it takes a good amount of rain in the mountains to get this creek flowing. This water makes its way through the mountain drainage and helps feed the waterfall in Carr Canyon.
Today’s rainfall has brought noticeable runoff to portions of the Huachuca Mountains, offering a look at just how quickly normally quiet mountain creeks can come alive following a solid soaking.
Anyone traveling into the mountains this evening should continue to use caution around flowing water, low-water crossings and normally dry creek beds, as conditions can change quickly during periods of heavier rainfall.

DRAGOON, Ariz. — Motorists traveling along Interstate 10 near Dragoon should be aware of two separate incidents reported within a few miles of each other this afternoon.
🔴 CRASH — MILEPOST 330
I-10 westbound is closed at US 191 near Dragoon due to a crash at milepost 320. Drivers should expect delays and seek an alternate route. There is currently no estimated time for the highway to reopen.
🔥 SEPARATE VEHICLE FIRE — NEAR MILEPOST 318
A vehicle fire has also been reported near milepost 318. This is a separate incident and is not related to the crash at milepost 320.
With both incidents occurring in the same general area, motorists traveling through this portion of I-10 should use additional caution and be prepared for delays.
Please give emergency responders plenty of room to work and follow any traffic directions in the area.
