🚨 TRAFFIC ALERT: ROLLOVER CRASH ON I-10 WESTBOUND 🚨
A rollover crash has been reported on Interstate 10 westbound near mile marker 299.
A medical helicopter is reportedly en route to the scene. Traffic in the area is moving slowly as emergency crews respond.
Motorists traveling westbound on I-10 are advised to use caution, reduce speed and be prepared for delays while first responders work the incident.
The extent of any injuries is not known at this time.

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. — The Sierra Vista Police Department is currently working an active police incident near Highway 90 and Kings Way this morning, Saturday, August 29.
The incident began at approximately 8:15 a.m., and a SWAT presence is currently active in the area.
TRAFFIC ALERT:
Kings Way is currently CLOSED between Highway 90 and Citadel Drive while law enforcement works the scene.
Motorists and members of the public are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes until further notice.

DOUGLAS PORT OF ENTRY REOPENS FOR CATTLE IMPORTS FROM SONORA
DOUGLAS, Ariz. — The Douglas Port of Entry reopened for cattle imports from Sonora, Mexico, on August 24 under enhanced screening, treatment, inspection, tracking and movement protocols established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Arizona Department of Agriculture (AZDA).
The reopening is an important development for Arizona’s agricultural industry while additional safeguards remain in place in response to the threat of New World screwworm in Sonora.
According to information provided by AZDA, the reopening supports three key priorities:
Supporting Arizona’s beef and agricultural economy: Safe movement of feeder cattle helps support Arizona producers, feedyards, border communities, rural jobs and the broader agricultural economy.
Protecting livestock and wildlife: Arizona currently has no confirmed cases of New World screwworm. USDA and AZDA have strengthened safeguards in response to the threat in neighboring Sonora and will continue working with federal, state, local, tribal, industry and Mexican partners to assess risks, monitor conditions and adjust response measures as necessary.
Preparing for potential New World screwworm response: USDA is moving forward with preparations for a future sterile-fly dispersal facility in Douglas, with Arizona assisting in the effort as part of a broader prevention and response strategy.
Livestock owners and members of the agricultural community are encouraged to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspected cases of New World screwworm.
The reopening represents an important step for cross-border agricultural commerce while maintaining enhanced measures designed to protect Arizona’s livestock, wildlife and agricultural industry.
