🚨 Update: Single-Vehicle Crash on Buffalo Soldier Trail Leads to DUI Arrest 🚨

New details have been confirmed regarding a single-vehicle crash that occurred Thursday, April 9, 2026, on Buffalo Soldier Trail near Golf Links in Sierra Vista.

According to authorities, a white Toyota Tacoma was traveling southbound when a red vehicle reportedly pulled out in front of it. The Tacoma driver swerved to avoid a collision, ultimately crashing into a power/telephone pole.

Witnesses on scene corroborated the driver’s statement about the red vehicle. However, no identifying details about that vehicle have been obtained.

During the investigation, officers observed signs of impairment from the Tacoma driver, who was arrested for DUI.

• No life-threatening injuries were reported
• No individuals were transported to the hospital

At this time, the DUI arrest is the primary citation associated with the incident.

Authorities continue to remind drivers to remain alert and never drive impaired.
